Measles Awareness For The Pacific – World Health Organisation
Measles are a real threat to Pacific countries who often have low vaccination rates and high distrust in public health institutions. Circul8 developed a communication toolkit for the World Health Organisation that could be distributed through different country communication channels across three key audiences: general public, travellers and health workers.
This video is for the general public. With the insight that community and family are extremely important in Pacific society, we tapped into this to show how protecting yourself against measles was also protecting the wider community. Bright colourful visuals were used to show the Pacific flavour and appeal to a wide audience.
Project highlights:
- Over 10 countries used the toolkit and 5 translated to their local language
- 1,518,910 unique reach across 21 countries delivering over 8 millions impressions
- Over 133,000 views to the videos, and over 466,000 engagements
- 27,287 clicks to WHO measles dedicated page
- Audience sentiment amongst the target communities has been overwhelmingly positive
