Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus of the World Health Organisation said at a press conference on June 29, 2020, that the worst of the coronavirus pandemic is still “yet to come”. Michael Ryan, the chief of the WHO emergency response programme said that the pandemic cannot be defeated by ideologies and world leaders need to ask themselves whether they have done enough.
