Let's use 3D Animation to understand how a bullet makes a person dead. This tiny part you are looking at is a bullet. And this so-called tiny bullet can unite one's soul with god when it hits him after coming out of a gun at high speed.

This high-speed bullet creates a really small hole as soon as it hits the body of a person. But the muscles inside the body explode badly because of the impact of the high energy and shock wave of the bullet. The bullet then creates a cavity by tearing the tissues, bones, and other organs apart.

The blood flow to other body parts gets diverted because of the damage in the blood vessels of this body part, and it starts to flow out of the body through this cavity. Most of the death cases after a gunshot; take place because of excessive blood loss.

If you think that you can save yourselves by anyhow avoiding the blood flow, then you are right. Let me tell you that if a bullet doesn't hit the brain or heart, there remain some chances to save the person, but if the bullet succeeded in damaging any of these vital organs, death is certain because of the heavy damage to their tissues.
