In this webinar, Professor Sarah Soule (Morgridge Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Professor of Sociology at Stanford University) discusses anti-corporate activism and corporate social reasonability at a time where corporations are embracing a rhetoric of public purpose and shareholder capitalism - and where certain sections of the political spectrum make claims that 'woke mobs' have taken over the boardrooms of the world's biggest corporations.

Professor Soule provides an overview of her extensive research on this topic as well as practical advice to leaders on how to engage activists productively.

Professor Soule is a leading organisational behaviour academic whose research examines state and organisational-level policy change and diffusion, and the role social movements have on these processes. She has published papers on how protests impact firm decisions, how advocacy organisations learn new strategies and tactics from those they collaborate with, and the process of emergence and diffusion of new protest tactics.
