This sermon talks about the three aspects of "The Power of One", Power, Promise and the Presence of God. In the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, one person has made a dramatic difference in our history with the help of God's hand and guidance over their life.
There have been many of these 'ones'. They were common and ordinary people like you and me. God empowered these ordinary people to do extraordinary things.
In the Bible we discover that the 'Power of One' is one person's influence of making a difference for God, one person's decision changing the course of history, one person's actions changing the world, one person's kindness making a dramatic difference in the world around them.
There is somebody waiting for that word of hope, that word of kindness, for that piece of literature, for that prayer; and, your life can be that one person that makes a difference.
