Member States of the World Health Organization have had a crucial role throughout WHO's history

On the occasion of WHO’s 75th anniversary, this video showcases the immense contribution of the WHO Member States to driving the organization forward, including through the Executive Board (EB) of WHO and the World Health Assembly.

It documents the impact of WHO Member States work, how Member States work as part WHO’s Governance to achieve tangible results, and how they have mobilized to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. Finally, it includes the happy anniversary messages from the current Executive Board Chair, and her six predecessors representing the six WHO regions.
